AquaClear
I have an AqauClear 50 with 2 of the Foam Media and a pack of Biobeads. I was told I should clean the Foam every time i do a water change so that the water flow doesn't decrease. Should i do this or does washing the foam so much kill off all the good bacteria?

holds more media than it comes with (I have an extra pack of bio media, and 2 sponges in it - no carbon) I have a couple of Aquaclear 20's on other tanks that have been running for over 1 year, and no problems with them. Ok I'm sorry this is a really dumb question but , I was thinking about taking ...
