When talking about pond snails, are these "Lymnaea Stagnalis"?

I also found "Sphaerium Corneum" - pea mussels when trawlling about the internet.....would these be suitable food?

What should be added first...ottos or DPs?

As can be seen on other posts, I'm gonna setup a tall 15 US gallon tank with 3 or 4 DPs and 2 or 3 ottos. I was wondering what should go into the tank first. I know that ideally ottos should only be added to an established mature setup, but I'm concerned that if the DPs are added first, they won't l...

Oops  , I misread that. I thought you were meaning that the babies would get picked off. I wasn't wanting them to breed proficely, just some to give the puffers something more to do. If they're gonna pester the adults like that, I won't bother. Thanks for the help guys....just need to get the ...

Cool, so ramshorns can be used as food too....however, can anyone answer my previous question....would a fully grown (non crushed :P )ramshorn survive in the tank? It would be handy to have them growing in there so they could have a food source growing in the tank with them.

Just a thought, as ramshorns are too large for them to eat, would it be viable to have some in the tank with them and they can eat the baby snails as well as the ones I put in the tank myself?

Do you breed the pond snails or just harvest them from a pond?

Snails for dwarf puffers

I was just wondering what kind of snails people use to feed their dwarf puffers. I'm gonna have a small setup for breeding them and was wondering what kinds are best. Ramshorns are obv a bit big and MTS are too hard. Or is it more common to use some other kind of food for keeping their beak at a man...
