Re: Fahakas teeth
Oh man. That poor thing. Why would somebody let it go like that. Did you do any dentistry on the owner? Fuffers teeth aren't over grown I was just trying to show her off
. I'm wondering how to keep it that way if she won't crunch anything.

Re: Funny MBU playmate
I lost two discus and almost a third before I realized what was happening. The otos enjoy sucking the slime coat and when they suck a hole in it the fish can get Avery bad infection. I was only trying to help. There is no other reason the oto would repeatedly land on the puffers head.

Re: Funny MBU playmate
You realize that can kill your puffer. You need to remove the oto right away. They will suck a hole in his slime coat and then infection will set in.Master of Puffers wrote:one of my ottos thinks that a mbu's head makes the perfect seating area.

I have a loach I just rescued. He is silver and about 8-9 inches easy. He looks a lot like a tiger botia body and face wise but he is just plain silver. I can't figure out how to get a pic on here but if anyone has a clue maybe let me know what ya think.

Re: What's your puffer's name?
Our fahakas name is fuffer. Our daughter won't say fahaka cus she says it's a bad word. And my hubby and I affectionately dubbed him f$@&¥r puffer. And obviously that isn't shild friendly so it got combined into fuffer

Fahaka feeding
Hey guys. So I'm new to puffers. I have had my fahaka for about three days now. The only thing I can get him to eat is prawns. Wich he eats quite ferociously lol. I just worry he needs a more varied diet and was curious as to what some of yours like to eat. He is still very small only 3-4 inches. Th...

Re: Worried about new fahaka
Thanks for your responses. He slowed his breathing that night and began exploring and playing in the sand. He is now very active and eating quite ravenously. Very excited to have him added to the family. Can't wait to watch him grow. He looks so small in his big tank.
