Bullet Goby and GSP

I let the fish store person talk me into getting a bullet goby to live with my green spotted puffer. She said it was a very fast fish and it could easily swim away if the puffer attacked it, but she said the puffer probably wouldnt attack it. Anyways.. up till today they have been great together. Th...

Re: Sand!!

Im still building my tank. Got rid of those cheesy plastic decorations and got live rock, rock with coraline algae, hair algae and some other kind of algae that looks like tall trees?? lol. I also just added three hermits and a Dragon Goby. All is well for now.

GSP not eating

I have been slowly raising my salinity to brakish, only raising it by .001 each day. My puffers eating habits have been great, eating two small portions a day. This time I waited two days because I wanted to make sure the salinity wasnt going to go higher than I wanted it. So today I steadily raised...

Live Rock.

I found a video on youtube by newyorksteelo, on deep sand beds. This guy had worms and such in his sand that cleaned his sand bed. Can I do this in a sand bed that is only 1-3 inches? Can I do this by just adding a couple live rocks? Do they need to be coral? Where is a good inexpensive place to get...

Re: Sand!!

One more thing. I have my tank cycled. Nitrates and nitrites and ph looks great. My sand will not be in till next week. Should I seperate my puffer from my betta now (and put him in the new tank) and just remove him again when Im ready to add the sand? Or would this be too much stress? Im just worri...
