Re: Coral compatable with puffer.

Have had some soft corals in that mainly live on photosynthesis, so far untouched. Sorry, don't know the names again :-)

Let me know if you have success and which corals make it!

Re: Coral compatable with puffer.

This coral (name : no clue) is not touched by my puffers. I also feed it mussels and food the puffers leave. In the centre of each round of fingers is a mouth and they twist towards the flesh and eat, swelling up. Seems to create spit bubbles when hungry or smells fish/crustacean meat, I think diges...

Re: Coral compatable with puffer.

My puffers don't touch these: they sting. Also very carnivorous, so handy for all the bits the puffers leave. However I was glad to find this forum in my native language!! Own a Ceylon Puffer (large juvenile) and two GSPs (small juveniles), bou...

Re: THe FAQs Of Skimmers read this BEFORE you buy one

I wish that I had read this about two weeks ago - LOL. In any case, great pointers and I did not know that the wooden air stone needed replacing in air driven skimmers. I have a 240 liter tank and some time ago bought the Juwel skimmer that fits in. It is venturi and seems to pull much black goo fro...
