Did you get your Bio-Spira at a chain or a private store? If it was a chain which one?

Can you feed puffers cricket from the wild. I live in the country and I can find an abundance of crickets. Can you feed these to puffers? I know that cricket are a part of their diets but can you give them wild ones? Just a question.

All I know is my little guys have calmed down alot since making the change. When I was a newbie I asked this question and no body gave me a easy to find buld for my tank so I'm trying to help the new guys to find lighting that is cheap and effective.

Great I'll be prepared to pay around $50 for it. Is that too high or about right.

Has anyone ever used this stuff? I've heard many of you sing its praises but have you used it?

So now my delima is this...How do you convert from aquarium salt to sea salt. is it ok to begin using sea salt at my next water change?

No I meant that his water's salinity was fine, not that they had to be kept in those conditions.

No, I think a puffer of that size is well in the range for mid-level brackish water (1.010-1.015) Go to the library and look at the article on GSPs it was really helpful to me.

I read it again and it said nothing about marine vs aquarium salts

I've read that article and it really didn't give the why.
