Re: GSP turned a pale yellow green (for a month now)??

I have a similar setup and have noticed that a light color is usually an indication of a happy fish. What are your water parameters? If everything is ok in the tank then I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: New to the puffer

Re: Sad Story

It's kinda crazy but you can see what I mean by bringing it to light. Not many people who live around Chicago really know it's a problem. I think that's why it is so important to share stories like your's. There is a thousand other people within 50 miles of you that have similar stories. But because...

Re: Sad Story

That is a truly sad story pufferpunk. My heart goes out to you. I wish I had enough fingers and toes to count the number of friends that I have lost to heroin. It really is an epidemic here in the chicagoland area. If anyone is interested there is a non profit group called the heroin epidemic relief...

Re: Balloon Experiment

Can a stressful puff cause toxins to be released into the water? I've heard mixed answers about this. just curious.

Re: Clear Coat Question

I would stay away from adding anything plastic or painted. I tried to add a painted decoration to my gsp tank, and one day when I came home my smaller puff Bullet had a blue moustache. He didn't actually eat anything, but he sure tried.

Re: New to Puffers!

Crypts of all varieties do well in lower sg. they are nice looking leafy plants good for harboring snails :)
