Re: Pufferface

They're such unique fish. (-:3

RTR, I didn't mean if their emotions changed that their facial expressions would show it. I was just wondering if it could change, for whatever reason.

Found A Spot For A 125 Gallon

Finally, I found a spot for a 125 gallon tank. It was tough work, and took a lot of sacrifices, but I did it and that's all that matters. So, I know just about everything I needed to to get a figure 8. What will I need to do differently? I'm getting a dogface puffer. Also, will I now have an option ...

Pufferface

Can puffers frown, or is that adorable smile permanently frozen on their even cuter faces?

I don't mean for like a split second. I mean, does a puffer have the capability of changing its facial expression?

Re: Setting Up A Figure Eight Tank

Lol! I'm, like, bursting. I can't wait until I get my puffer! I'll post pics when it's all set up. In the meanwhile, I think I'll be on here for a while :) .

I couldn't have done this without you guys. Thanks so much.

Re: Setting Up A Figure Eight Tank

The store uses marine salt, so that's covered. They really look like they know what they're doing.

Re: Setting Up A Figure Eight Tank

RTR and seven, thanks so much. This definitely cleared a lot up. As far as confusion, everything was easily understandable, but my brain turned off at- "On current: Current is critical to tanks. It moves water through our filters where undissolved particles are trapped in sponges or fiber mats ...

Re: Setting Up A Figure Eight Tank

For step 9, I replace the water in the tank, right?
But what about the mixed water? That water hasn't been cycled.

NO! I like not having censors. Shouldn't it be fine if it's not abused?

I remember someone saying that there was such a low amount of salt involved, I didn't really need a powerhead. Well, whatever. I would have probably gotten one anyways. Soooo...what exactly does a p...
