I was wondering if anyone feeds there puffers earthworms? I have read in this forum in the past feeding blackworms but not earthworms. gsp with live rock
Hi I have been wanting live rock in my 55 gal with my GSP's and finally have my 2 GSP at full marine 1.020 so bought some live rock, cured it and placed in my my tank. Question is now my GSP's are eating the live rock! Since I'm new to live rock can you explain to me if it ok for them to do this and...

Puffer food
Other then snails,shell type crustations, worms and such does anyone feed plankton to there puffers? I have these frozen cubes of plankton that my GSP's go crazy over. Just wondering how much or if there is much nutrition in them. Thanks!

So I will raise the salinity per week to get them there. Any chance by raising the salinity it could help lower my nitrate? I just can't figure out why I can't get it to 0 or close. I do weekly water changes so it's not like there any waste in the water. I upped the salinity to close to 1.006 today.

I'm using the API liquid test-tube I will start to raise the salinity I know they need to be there. I did a 75% water change today and really sucked out the area where I found him dead. I have been afraid to do anything different because I cant seem to get a handle on the nitrate. Its goes back to 20 after 2 days after the water change. The other GSP is 4 inches long. How big of a water change 50%? Thanks!

Ok thanks everyone. Going to do the diluted espom salts now and go to the Lfs that specializes in salt fish and see if they have those Meds. I have to go to work today but will try to post a picture later. You r very informative and I appreciate the knowledgeable advise!
