Heh... I was putting some flakes in to feed a pair of Cambarellus shufeldtii that I put in there hoping that they would breed... and one of the little buggers went ape over the flakes. Too funny. The others were looking at him with that "what are you doing" look on their faces.

My SAP's eat the snail eggs in their tank. It's a little frustrating.

Either way... it made me laugh.

I worry about keeping "enough" but not "too many" snails etc. in the tank.

I use Avast, Superantispyware, Spybot search and Destroy, Malware Bytes Anti Malware, Emco Malware Destroyer, Eusing Registry Cleaner, and Startup Manager. I work I switch Avast to Norton Internet Suite. They all find stuff the others missed.

They are dedicated little hunters. They wiped out all of the smaller snails and are now wailing on medium size Ramshorns.

Does anyone know what the white "bumps" on the Crayfish are? I've seen them and assumed that they were a parasite of some kind.



I think any shells that are too thick are handled by ripping the meant from the underside of the animal.

I've never had any luck with Ghost Shrimp Shrimplettes.

As for the Red Cherries... I'm actually thinking about getting more for my Puffer Tank. I can just dump them in before I get attached to them. I've watched mine for too long to feed them. How weird is that?

I like Tahitian Moon Sand.... but that stuff almost had me living under a bridge when I filled a 100 Gal (379 ltr) tank.

My new guys are all happily snail hunting.
