I have a Burrfish and immaculate puffer in a venezia 350 and it's too small for them, i had to add a sump with an oversized skimmer and do a 50L waterchange every 4-5 days to keep the water good for them. I am just about to order a 7x2x2 to keep them in now. They are VERY messy fish!

I put my maroon clown in with my puffers for a week and it caused loads of trouble. It used to take food from them, drop it, then come back and take more.

I agree. It might be heating the tank to 26 now but could possibly just get hotter and hotter as it wears. It's up to you to decide the temp you want, not the equipment.

I think she is using Koralia pumps, the newer EVO ones (was asking about them in a different thread)

Until summer comes and it heats the tank too much. If you keep it a degree lower you have a little wiggle room.

Flow is very important but is worth knowing which pump is heating the water.

25 is what you need to aim for in a reef. Look at ATC 800 or TC-10 Temp controllers. Worth having!

Which pumps are they? i had one of the cheapy sunsun ones that used to heat my reef.

It's probably one of the new pumps. Try turning one off for a day and see what happens. Then try another one another day.

My immaculate puffer eats them too

I have a 239 gallon tank sorted for them hopefully.

Just looked at the link agian for Cyclichthys orbicularis. I'm pretty sure thats the one. spines are the same
