F8 Puffer Diet

Hi,
I've two juvinile F8 puffers in a tank that I've just finished coverting to brackish over the last month (SG 1.005). Their diet has consisted of bloodworm (frozen and freeze dried), clams and periwinkles. They have been doing very well with no issues.
However, due to not concentrating, I put a handful of peas in their tank tonight. The peas should have went into my Africian tank which is next to theirs. To my surprise, they ate the some of the peas (I quickly removed the remainder). Two questions; will it do them any harm to eat the peas? Secondly, if not, should I be feeding them greens occassionally?
Thanks in advance,
Ken.
