Oh no not another guess the puffer thread. Yeah we think its a T. sabahensis, Hilly is the best person to ask for care details. If memory serves correct the fish is a brackish species

I am in the process of writing something up but my time is limited at the moment.

Is he in fresh or brackish water at the moment.

Also do a search on here for Sabahensis that will give you about as much info that has been posted about them.

All of my tanks have a pinch of salt, not brackish. Eating very well right out of the bag, ghost shrimps, rosey reds, ect

I'd start moving him up to brackish. He is quite large.

Where did you find him? I've been looking for a T. Sabahensis in Michigan.

FRP, are you AquaticTreasure? If so, you have some great stock! The person I got my palembangensis (Justin) from says he got it from you and Justin is just wonderful. I know others that have purchased puffers from you as well and they speak very highly of your stock. Please let me know if you get anymore DPs in.

You're right Spoot, he's in way better condition than mine was. Food dont last long at all with them when they get into the groove.
