He has what appears to be blood around both of his eyeballs. Sometimes more on one day, and less on another. Any opinions?

can you post a picture? are you sure its not the natural eye colour, is it in a tank with anything else? Does it look like bleeding or justs a ring of red inside the lense?

Can you post more details of your setup please

How long has this been happening, what are your tank parameters, tank size, tankmates etc... to get a complete picture.

Thread moved to hospital forum.

I have a 55g with just liverock and a clownfish. The parameters are normal. It's not his normal eye color because I've had him for about 6 months and it's only been happening for about a week and a half.

This is not my puffer..

..but if it were, the red would be on the inside perimeter of the yellow area.

I really can't get a good picture of mine because I don't know how to use my camera for tank pictures. If someone could help me out with that, I might be able to get a good one.

Not sure if this matters, but my tank is a full marine tank.

Well, I can't help you but I do find it facinating. I've never heard of such a thing and I'm interested to hear if anyone else has.

Is he showing any signs of Popeye (eyeballs bulging out of his head)?

Please give the actual parameters of your tank. "Normal" does not help anyone help you, as we need to know what the real levels are. That's always the first place to look.
