Does it work for ich or gill flukes? How does one get it here in the US?

As far as I know from my exchanges with Paul, it kills any invertebrate lower(and for sensitive ones, a few higher) on the evolutionary ladder than snails. That would definately include gill flukes, but I doubt it would have any effect on ich, probably too different genetically. It works by preventing nutrient uptake and causing cell necrosis, so if ich happens to have an appropriate receptor on it's cell membranes I suppose it would work, but my gut instinct on that is no. I got it here in the US with a simple email to the company requesting overseas shipment.

If you go to flubenol.co.uk (owned by P. Fox Industries), you can buy it online and have it shipped to just about anywhere. I got some for Poofer a few months ago.

I wonder if it would work for nematodes. You could inject a solution with high concentration of flubenol directly into the nematode when the fish is sedated.

Can't imagine it would have a problem with them, and not sure you'd need to inject - its designed for fish use, and will uptake rapidly into the bloodstream through the gills.

It would most likely work on nematodes, and without need for injection. The reason I wouldn't use it on nematodes is they will rot and fester inside the fish's body unlike other IPs that pass through the digestive system once dead. If the nematode is small it may not be as harmful but there's no good way of knowing how many are in the fish that you cannot see signs of yet.

Hi guys
The site is down for a number of reasons, firstly, there was a bad batch, so supply is very limited, the laws are due to change in a few months, so it made sense to close it as it needs to be re-branded and renamed/formulated and because of problems at home, as Ian says, if anyone wants any 'wormer' please pm me, I dont post a lot on here or anywhere atm, but I do check for pms
