New FW tank

Hey everyone, I currently have a 20gallon tall hexagon tank set up with tropical community fish in it, im planning on setting up a 5ft long tank for them to move too and plan on using the 20g hex tank for dwarf puffs.
It currently has gravel substrate, fake plants, rocks, pots and bogwood and an elite stingray filter.
Would I literally be able to move my community fish out and some dwarfs in? if so how many could I have? would the tank need anything adding/remioving and are there any kind of other FW puffers I could have?

many thanks

Stu

If the other fish are moved out and the filter is left in place you could pretty much put them in straight away as the tank will be fully cycled. The tank has enough gallonage for 4 but with a hex dimensions come into play, whats the rough dimensions.

I would say 3 DP for that shape tank, it may have the gallons for more but the shape doesn't allow much territory space IMO

Some vallis or hygrophillia polysperma would be good and easy to grow too ;)
