Bobbing turgidus

Yesterday, I moved Leo, my turgidus, into a larger established tank. Today, I noticed him acting goofy for the first time. His new tank has a stronger Aquaclear filter on it and creates a little more current than he's used to. He's puffing up, then bobbing around under the outflow of the filter. Then he'll unpuff and move to the side and rest a bit, then puff up and start bobbing again. Its the funniest thing to watch.

Is there any way he can see his reflection in the new tank?

My cochinchinensis used to do something similar till I put him in his new tank. Target puffers are cool, and stuff like this is proof.

Don't think so, there's a backing on the tank so I don't think it reflects. He doesn't seem to be looking at the glass, just bobbing up and down in the current. :D

Maybe he thinks he's a teabag.

by my name is mike
i recently changed over my filters to aquaclears and noticed that the current is much stronger than other HOBs. So, i took a piece of plexiglass an glued with silicone it to the out-pour. This got it closer to water and also deflected the current more towards the surface. It was kind of a hastle, but the outcome was good.
