I just got home from work and was sitting around admiring the new guy. Well, for no apparent reason at all, while he was swimming near the filter intake he puffs up. For maybe 3 seconds. Then he does a quick puff again, for a fraction of a second. Any idea what may have triggered this? Did I startle it?
5 minutes or so after it happened I dropped in a few ghost shrimp that I picked up at work today and he went on his way hunting them down.

Re: T. Abei puffed?!
The only time my Abei puffed is when I first got him, just took it that he wasnt used to me and I startled him, he's never puffed up since.

Re: T. Abei puffed?!
Hi
My guy is around 8 months old now, similar experience to that of Hilly, he puffed big time when
we introduced him to his home, and again when we moved him into the 180 litre tank, but never
really seen him do it apart from those occassions.
