I use DIY Co2 in all my planted tanks. I keep the bottles on the floor. I noticed one laying on it's side the other day and I stood it back up. I have now realized that it has syphoned about 1/2 a litre of the yeast mixture into my 10g DP tank. Probably been in there a couple of days. I am now doing 80% water changes daily but do I need to redo the tank and clean substrate and stuff like that. What attracted my attention was that large air bubbles are excaping from the eco complete on a regular basis.

Any advice would be welcome.

Well, basically its yeast, maybe some sugar and alcohol (the fermented sugar, yes, you are "brewing" when you do DIY co2). I don't suppose the alcohol is good for the fish, but at least you know it didn't have any nasty bacteria or anything in it (the alcohol would kill it). So my assumption would be if it didn't do any damage when it first got in there, it probably won't hurt anything. I'd just keep up the water changes for a few days and keep an eye on your readings, the alcohol probably wasn't enough to damage your biofilter but its better to watch for it.
