Forcing rapid growth is not a good thing IMO.

A big enough tank.

I would recomend against trying to increase growth rate. Fahakas will grow very fast when young but this slows with age. If yours is not growing then there will be a reason for it, generally poor water conditions.

I would definately not over feed, check here for why http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/vie ... php?t=9289

As Manutius said, more food won't really increase growth, but a wide variety of healthy foods will certainly make sure he fills out to his potential. Avoid krill, and lean the diet towards snails, worms, clams, muscles. I very strongly believe that buildup of hormones in the water is a very important factor in stunting, even much more so than nitrate and other organic buildups, so increasing standard water changes to two 75% changes every week will in my opinion do more for his growth rate than anything else you can do, a tie with having a bigger tank.

You just need to feed em sensibly provide em with a big enough tank to grow and maintain good water quality and let nature take its course.

If you overfeed him, he'll just poop out undigested food anyway. Let nature take it course.
