I've had this puffer for over 2 years now. He's in a 55-gallon tank by himself, no reef. Has not eaten for almost 2 months now and I'm getting seriously worried. The water has been checked and is fine. He acts like he wants to eat, darts at it, but compared to how he ate before, his mouth doesn't seem to open or be as forceful in doing so as before. His usual diet is freeze-dried krill, but we do occasionally give him ghost shrimp and other small fish. I've read other places that this might be lock-jaw, but I just can't seem to find any definitive answers, and our local saltwater fish store has no clue. Please someone help before it's too late...

How big is he? 55 is too small for a porc. Does he show any signs of sickness? Is his personality the same or has he changed? Also what are the exact perams?

Its hard to say for certain but its likely it is lockjaw. Krill is insufficient to use as a main staple, the reults of doing so are lockjaw and other subsequences of vitamin deficiencies. It also often causes constipation, which leads to not eating and often death.

Can you get a picture of him? And please answer all of the questions at the top of the hospital forum (I'm moving this thread there).
