I have a problem - sometimes my Tak. oblongus go crazy, rocketing around the tank and jumping for no apparent reason :? . It just happened the first time last night - I was just lying in bed and suddenly they all started rocketing around and splashing. I didn't even move.

Can anyone help?

Cheers,

These are the wild caught fish? If so, it's likely something tripped an escape mechanism, and he acted like he was escaping while in open water, hence the commotion in the tank. Might take a while for him to get over it.

Make sure the tank is covered tight. This could alxo be a symptom of nitrate poisoning. Could you please post water parameters--ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH?
