Sad SAP?

Whenever I come in from being out, my SAP is just laying on the bottom of the tank with motionless fins. As soon as he sees me he is back to life and swimming about as usual! Has anyone else ever experienced this? Maybe he needs a friend? :(

SAPs actually DO get lonely, they are known schooling fish. so he might enjoy the company if you have space. They also like current quite a bit, so adjusting his filter so he has a large current to swim in somewhere in the tank might perk him up.

I think I'll go and get another one tomorrow then! I was thinking about getting another one so it gives me a good reason to :)

A few of my puffs do the same thing. They perk up when they see me because they know I bring food. :)
