my new fahaka is finally comfortable

the little fahaka I brought home like a week ago has now decided to get his lazy tail off the bottom of the tank and get active I walked in the room and he charged the glass and started flashing colors and flashing his tail at me and the proceeded to take his 1st piece of frozen market shrimp and he's only 3in. already taking 4 and 5in. live crayfish

Try not to overfeed. How many do you have?

Agreed, 4-5 inches of food is way too much for a 3 inch fish. His stomach should be slightly rounded, not bulging, after his meal. Overfeeding fish is like overfeeding humans or any other animal, its not healthy.

I don't let his stomach Get to grossly big and now that he is good and active and eating real nice I bring my puffers at this stage from daily feedings to everyother day or every every 3 days but no longer daily feedings

Not to get too off topic, I remember another user doing it in the text portion of some of their posts. This is the first time I have seen someone's user name like that.
