Right...

they wont eat snails it would appear

but will this really be a problem with such small puffers???

has anyone had any similar trouble - or has anyone found that their irrubescos didnt require dental care???

My DP has slightly overgrown teeth right now, and I'm wittling them down with tiny tiny snails. It's more and more rare with smaller puffers(they seem to wear easier) but I can personaly confirm that even a 1" dp can get buck toothed.

My SAPs have some pretty big chompers because I guess they weren't being fed snails at the store, but have no fear my neighbor breeds pond snails :D

SAPs have some of the fastest growing teeth of all puffers and almost always need to have dental work. Mine get a diet only of snails and still I have to do dental work every 2-3 months.
