Looking to replace my poor F8's....recommendations?

As per my thread in the 'hospital' section, my two F8s passed away this week and after some further inspection of water properties and the purchase of some more hardy temporary fish to make sure the tank is cycled I'd like to get a purely freshwater puffer.

The red eye puffer is one i like the look of as it is relatively small ( i only have a 70 liter) tank and seems to be consistently identified as freshwater.

What would you guys recommend? ideally I'd like two puffers and maybe another fish or two (possible pleco?).

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks

I really am enjoying my figure 8's kept ina 24 (I know its small and would love to upgrade if possible). Figure 8's are awesome. I don't know of mayn other puffers that could live in such smaill tanks that are of relatively (larger) size.

You could keep a fangs puffer (t. cochinchinensis) in that tank no problem if you can find one. Doubt you will get away with tankmates though.
