I put a second powerhead in my 55g tank tonight and one of my figure 8's got sucked up the intake. I managed to get him out and he was puffed up. Now He's got some red areas up by his head. Looks like maybe some burst blood vessels or something like that. I dont even know if he's going to live. He's pretty stressed out. I put some melafix in there, is there anything else I can do???

All you can do is give him good water conditions. Hopefully he'll pull through.

OOh dear, yeah keep up with melafix and water changes, if the puffer is healthy it should pull through.

Yeah, not much can be done unfortunately, other than wait and hope for the best. Maybe keep the lights off today and give him a good bit of time to de-stress.
