Dwarf Puffer water parameters

What are the ideal water parameters for a DP?

Nitrites 0
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 20-40 ppm (not positive)
Ph best at 7-7.5 but can accept a wide range.

Thanks, and should the water temp be around 26 C? Also what kind of snails should I feed them and how often should i feed them.

Common pond snails are good. You could do ramshorn or MTS but mts have hard shells and it could break your dp's beak. I'd reccomend feeding bloodworms along with the snails . You might want to try dwarfpuffers.com too see if you can get some more info there.

When I buy my plants there are always snails in them so there are usually always snails in my tank is that adequate or do I still have to feed them snails

You might want to start a snail breeding tank. Puffers go through snails like crazy.

OK, can you just buy snails at an LFS? Also how many sails should you feed for every 1 DP a week?
