What happened to the mbu?

NH3 - Ammonia 0
NO2 - Nitrite 0
NO3 - Nitrate <20
SG - Specific Gravity 1.005
pH = 8

Read the F8 article in our Library.

also known as MR MBU, he was lovely, like a pet dog just in a tank, use to splash water if i didnt pay him enough attention, smile for food, his expressions where great when i came home from work so happy to see me, almost waggin his tail you could say,,, dont i sound sad.

sadfully when me and my ex split i had to sell him as my new house was not big enough for us both, his tank alone was 7 foot x 2 foot x 2 1/2 foot, aspecially made for me cost well over 1k too but he was worth every penny, even to this day i still miss him but i know where the LFS sold him too and i know he is well cared for. think my love for him and how much i missed him made me want my cheeky F8's got the caracter, just not so large.

hence all the question,. i want to get it right,, but not to assume they are the same as Mr MBU

I know exactly where you are coming from. All puffers are great but I don't think any other fish could match my Clooney for character he is 8)

Pond or Ramshorns. Malaysian trumpet shells = ouchies those shells are too hard.

Bloodworms are good for them too.

I wouldn't feed them garden worms or garden snails due to the possible pesticide and herbicide usage.

You can breed your own snails in a 5-20 USGal tank. RTR and Rocker both have snail breeding articles in the library
