Hello everybody please can any body help me I've been an avid fish enthusiast for many years but have only recently stumbled onto the joy of puffers. I recently set up a species only tank with two juvenile green spotted puffers my problem is that while searching the net I keep finding contradicting information some people say they can happily live in total freshwater others say it must be brackish I'm a bit confused any advice would be appreciated! 8)

They are extremely prone to various diseases in freshwater. Therefore, they should be kept in brackish water.
