hi I have a new sap and was wondering if i could keep 2 dwarf puffers in the tank with him, i have read here that the bigger puffer might be at more risk of the dwarfs than the dwarfs at risk of the bigger one.
If i did this would i be putting any of them at a risk of being injured or killed

thanks clare

IME, you risk your SAP by putting dwarves in with them. All of my dwarves were evil and ate fish much bigger than themselves. I wouldn't recommend mixing dwarves with anything but otos, and even that is iffy.

THANKS

Agreed. My SAPs had bites on them.

My SAP and dwarf live happily together in a 2' tank with a pair of kribs, but thats only my experience

All my dp's have been totally unagressive fish. The safest way is to get a small tank though

Just depends on the puffers personality, some don't get on some do.

Ever think of getting a much larger tank and more SAPs? They are schooling fish and you could have fun watching a small swarm of them zipping around together.
