foolish

I have foolisly trusted the advice of a local tropical aquatics store owner that assured me that 2 puffers, (? dwarf) would be alright to go in my new uncycled 60L community tank. However after just 1 day, 1 of them is already looking discoloured. HELP, what should i do?

Big water changes every day (70%+). Go out and buy yourself a liquid test kit that will check Ph, Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates. Keep up with the changes until you get no ammonia or nitrite readings, the tank should then be cycled.
You say it's a community tank, what else is in there?

If you live in the US, try to find some BioSpira. Otherwise, do as Hilly says, and don't buy any other product that is supposed to cycle, none of them work.

I assume, when they use the measurement of liters, it's probably isn't in the US.

You might want to figure out what kind of puffer they are as well, as that may mean different water parameters may be needed for them.
