HELP! Ill F8 :(

I woke up this morning to find my F8 being bashed around the tank by the airflow, helplessly bumping into things with neither of his side fins moving. They seemed to be stuck backwards. He's made it through the day and his fins are now all moving for a bit, but then he's motionless and floating again! Any ideas what could be up with him? My angel fish was really going for him this morning. I'm going to try to get a trap to secure him in and see if he can get better. Has anyone experienced this before?

You need to read the announcement at the top of the hospital forum and give us that information.
As this is a brackish fish can you also tell us the sg of your water.
Help will be along as soon as possible.

A figure 8 and an angelfish should not be in the same tank. Figure 8's do best in lightly brackish water(marine salt must be used, not aqarium), with either no company or only other F8's. Some people have had luck with them in with other fish, but it's not usually viable. What are your water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, PH, SG, the actual numbers of the readings. I'm sure people will try to help you if we have more information.
