Plants for my GSP tank

Because of my GSP, I have my first and only BW tank. As algae is a big problem there, I need a plant that grows fast and also can survive in BW. Anyone have a tip on which plant would be a good idea?

We've tried java moss in our 1.010 tank, but it barely stayed alive. If you are still at lower salt levels it might work for you. Maybe also try a phosphate sponge. We put sone into our HOB filter instead of carbon and the algae grows much slower.

There aren't really any BW plants I know of that can survive the higher SG required for GSPs. Not sure how macroalgaes do at lower SGs than full SW but you might want to try some of them once you get it up there.

The tank is in the lower part of the BW scale yet. That's because the GSP was in FW in the shop, and I also introduced her to a freshwater tank. And then I have very, very, very slowly started to raise the amount of salt in the water. She's very small too, so it will be a long time until she needs SW. I don't know how much salt there's in the water. Partly because I didn't rely on the hydrometer, and partly because that nice little thing in my avatar broke the hydrometer some days ago. That's the second hydrometer she breaks! It must have a good taste

Currently I am having rather good luck with Rotala Indica and Crinums. They were in Freshwater one day and in 1.005 Brackish the next... strangely they were showing signs of growth not even 4 days after being introduced to Salts. I also have Crypt Wendtii in the tank, that has not melted yet... I am literally shocked to see it hasn't started to melt. The Banana plants are also seeming to do ok, not too sure if they're gonna make it but they should according to what I have read.

I've heard Val americanum (spelling?) is a good bet for brackish.
