HOLEY MOLEY! I just confirmed they do still have it in stock, its 7-9 inches long, and is $500.00! A tad more than I was looking to pay.

Agree. Maybe get several of them, there are reports they are schooling.

Check-list of the freshwater fishes of Africa (Volume 2) AFAIK reported groups of adults and juveniles in the mainstream of the Cross river; In addition a German importer, who caught some reported the juveniles caught and kept together showed no signs of intraspecific aggression. Maybe grouping like trouts would be more precise than schooling like herrings. Anyway, there is more unknown about this fish than known.

I still think the original was lineatus. I have seen several threads like this but none seem to update the thread nor do they post any more pictures as the puffer grows.

The pictures in the net look very similar to the ones on the fishbase profile. I think its a Pustulatus, good looking fish.

they grow up to be soooo pretty too....
