My LFS just got in 5 or so T. suvatti's, and I couldn't help myself and picked one up (10 bucks...good price?) He's pretty neat. He's in a 10 gallon quarantine. I'll be moving him up to either a 30 or 40 gallon after he's finished with the quarantine. I tried to get the employee to feed them so I could see which ones were active and eating, but none did. (I think they'd had a fishy snack judging on some of the tank remains) I got the most active one. He's only about 2 inches right now. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Suggestions on caring for them are welcome. I'm gonna use sand substrate in the 30-40 gallon.

Strike2, if you're interested, its Fish R Fun that has them. There were 4 left when I got mine.

I've had a little trouble getting him to eat food, so I just left some bloodworms in there for him. I think he ate a little bit. Any tricks from other suvatti owners on feeding? (I'm going to try garlic)

Yea mine hasn't eaten either...a ghost shrimp walked across his face and even poked him in the eye (he sucked his eye in..looked crazy)...has just swam around to get the shrimp off.

I just fed him some bloodworms and he was a little interested; he sucked down a few. Which is good, as far as I'm concerned for now, since I'd soaked them in PraziPro. I'm gonna try stringing shrimp in the tank and see how he feels about that.

Mine still hasn't touched anything, but he has seemed to change colors...much lighter than when I got him.

Yea, mine looks really really tanish when the lights go off in the tank and I have the room light on...but still much lighter than when I got him...still no food has been touched.

Did you ask the store what they were feeding them and try the same thing?
