Possible internal parasites?

Ok i picked up a spiney box puffer saturday. He is 4 inches long. He was covered in ick and i'm not sure if he has internal parsites. His stomach is flat and even alittle sunken. I have feed him a few times but he is skinny within a few hours. His poo looks fine. At the lfs he has only been fed twice in two weeks. Should i treat for internal parsites or wait, and how long should i wait. I'm treating the ick with hyposalinity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would wait and see if he doesn't plump up from regular, healthy feedings first. If you feed him daily and he's still sunken in after a week, I'd go ahead and treat him at that point.

What were you going to treat it with?
