was wondering if it would be safe to add a 2nd arrowhead to the one in my 40 gallon tank. The 2 were housed together when i bought the first.

Im assuming one would end up dead sooner or later

I will take your advice and pass on the 2nd then, Thanks. Btw do you need to quarantine crawfish like feeders?

Yes, anything live should be quarantined for at least 2 weeks, 4 is better.

Well i decided to go with frozen silverfish and frozen krill. And man this guy isnt shy, i used tongs like i read about you using and he shot out and attacked 3 in a row and gobbled them up. I decided to put 4 mystery snails in there to roam to, but petsmart unfortunately gave me one snail and 3 empty shells, nothin like payin a 1.50 a piece for hollow shells.

Heheh, sounds like my baileyis. They're fast when the food hits the water. I gotta be quick or they'll get it too fast and I can't make them chase it around first.
I wouldn't put mystery snails in there unless you want them dead.

They do need snails but you're the first I know of that has actually bought mystery snails to feed them directly.

Make sure the empty shells are empty and chuck them in, too. Mine will even chomp on empty shells.

Ya i put the empty ones in. I bought mystery snails cause thats all that was available that i saw. They sure are a pretty orange though, gonna be interesting to see how he is going to take one of those down. You actually manage to have some of your puffs chase your tongs around the tank? How fun!

Yeah, I make them work a little for their food. They're fast though, they don't work for long!

do they get bored quickly like my cats do when you play chase, if they don't get hold of it every now and then they lose interest
