Hi All,

Night before last when i got in i noticed a few white patches on my T Turgidus, so i started treating for fungal as it wasnt like salt grains, loked more cotton wooly. This morning it has more than doubled over his back. Any ideas what else i can try :(

I have Melafix and a specific Fungal treatment.

No new additions to tank, water stats are zeros apart from Nitrate which was <0.5

Help :(

Perhaps a combination of Melafix and Pimafix would be a good idea. Pimafix for the fungus and Melafix to heal the skin. Your water is spot on but some daily water changes as well just to keep it in absolute pristine condition won't hurt whilst he heals up. Maybe raise the temp a couple of degrees as well and and an airstone.

My turgidus gets white patches or bumps if his water isn't pristine.. Melafix and lots of water changes always clear it up.

Its got substantially worse today, im still treating with Melafix and King British Fungal treatment (couldnt get Pimafix)

His right eye has all clouded up and the white stuff looks like veigns all over his back :(

If he hasnt shown any sign of improvement tomorrow after work, i think i may euthanase the poor soul..rather than let him suffer with something that the treatments arent working on.

I really hope it doesnt come to that though
