Does anyone have any idea what this spot on my Puff's tail could be? It's been on there some weeks now, just the one spot, absolutely nothing else anywhere else on the body.... any ideas???

The 1st & 2nd pics are the clearest I could get..... thx in advance

It looks like possibly ich but its the same spot for weeks and hasn't spread. I'm stumped.

Thanks Boxermom & Rocker for the replies... Rocker, I remember reading that thread...but I don't think this is ich...it is one single spot and quiet big....not at all like salt grains...and I understand the fingernail explanation in that thread but this is a raised spot...not flat like a blemish.... and it has been there for around 6 - 8 weeks with absolutely no other spots anywhere else on the body or any other fins.

I am not too concerned....Puff is doing GREAT otherwise.....just curious as to what it could be?????
