Worst advice ever

This guy must get puffer advice from Walmart. The bad part is that I found this page via Google. Maybe if multiple people tell him the data is wrong he will correct it.

Eek, I think i'll be sending a message myself.
For others who are sending messages, please remember to keep them non-insulting, and subtle. If you just tell the guy hes wrong, its going to make both sides mad. If you have the right info to back up everything you tell him, hes more liable to listen and change something.

His comment "a good way to keep them is small filtered aquariums (such as a 6 gal Eclipse setup) with other puffers" could only come from someone in the fish trade!

LOL, i'm not sure whats worse, the wrong scientific names to match up with the common names, or the part that you just quoted.

Speaking as someone in the fish trade, I'd never recommend that!
Maybe for 1-2 DPs, but nothing else! We're not all money-grubbing fish torturers.

I can imagine. Unfortunately I work for a large financial group, one that gets stingier by the hour! Used to have good benefits but they are dwindling!

Unfortunately that seems to be the case pretty much everywhere. Meanwhile the executroids drive down the stock, are incompetent, and get millions in severance pay packages. Go figure.

Though this site is generally quite good (I learned a LOT from it when I started out), I've noticed that this article on figure 8's claims that they do better in freshwater rather than brackish -
