UK IP remedies

I have had trouble finding some the remedies mentioned, does anyone have a decent internal parasite remedy from a UK lfs

OOh that looks exciting,t he seed thing obviuosly not your puffer being poorly. I'm all for the natural way I hope it works sir

I will mail you geltek if this becomes necissary to heal your puffer. I hope the pumpkin seed remedy works, and in interest of making it easier to treat fish with, I researched and found this recipe for removing the active compounds-
Pumpkin seed dewormer24
1 - Shell and grind up the pumpkin seeds (or buy them at a grocery store).
2 - Mix 500 g of the seeds with three litres of water.
3 - Simmer (do not boil), while stirring, for 30 minutes.
4 - Let cool 30 minutes.
5 - Filter through a cloth, squeezing to remove as much juice as possible.
6 - Reduce over low heat to 150-200 ml.
7 - Make sure to remove oily scum.
This would make a concentrate you could soak famillar foods in. You could probably reduce the recipe a LOT.

I gave it a try but TBH I didn't give it a fair shot. I had further thoughts as to whether the puffer did actually have IPs. As I say I have never had a case before and decided to let things lie for a while and see how the puffer developes.

I was given the puffer by a shop because it was in a sorry state. Both the store owner and myself thought that he wouln't last long. I brought him home along with another healthier one.
I have fed him as much as the other but where as the other one still appears plump after a while, he is still very skinny.
I can feed him a large meal and by the morning he is as skinny as a rake.
He seems to be putting a little on though so I have just monitored things at the mo.

Well I tried the pumpkin seed trick and I must say I think it might have worked. One of my dwarfs had a sunken in tummy before and shortly after eating, the other two looked fine.
I crushed up some seeds and left frozen bloodworm to thaw and sit in it for a bit before feeding.
Since then I have three dwarfs who have nice plump tummies. I didn't see him poop out a worm but he has certainly filled out since.
I only did this for one feed too...I imagine a bigger puffer with bigger/more worms may need a few feedings.
It is absolutely no trouble to prepare or feed so I would recommend this to anyone who even suspects IPs.
