none of the local stores sell any internal parasite remover

none of the loal stores have any internal parasite remover the ones that do will not have it for atleast another 2 weeks what can i do now read the threads but i dont understand please help me with what i can use and doses he would take it now he has started eating again with a huge hunger keeps wanting more

Where are you located? You can order them online and get them faster. I definitely wouldn't wait 2 weeks if you really think your fish has IPs.
All puffers (and most other fish) have "huge hunger keeps wanting more." Don't give him more than he should have. Overfeeding is very bad for their health.

I am in mo i was reading the artical were you could treat them with pig dewormer not that i have any of that but also a was reading an artical and cant remeber where but it said you could give them cat and dog wormer too is that true i do have that but would not think of it without gettign the correct info first

try e bay or aqua bid .........NEver put anything in your tank unless it says aquarum safe witch no doubt mammal dewormer is not!

Gomez, I believe many medications can be used for aquatica and mammals, including humans.
There is a thread in the hospital section I believe that lists medications that can be purchased from vets for use in treating ich. Basically what you need is metronidazole and praziquantel I believe, both of which are contained in Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX and PraziPro fish medications, which can be purchased at a number of online stores like Drsfostersmith.com and bigalsonline.com.

I actually read it here that you can treat with piperazine this is what tje artical says at the top of this page....
Piperazine (PI-per-a-zeen) is a systemic Anthelmintic ( ant-hel-MIN-tiks), which are used to treat worm infestations. Piperazine specifically treats common roundworms (ascariasis) and pinworms (enterobiasis; oxyuriasis). It works by paralyzing the worms and then are passed in the stool. Piperazine may not be available without a prescription. Available as a tablet only in the US.
Noga's recommended route of administration is orally only. Dosed at 4.5 mg/lb of body weight/day for 3 days

this what i know from other articals
it says to treat 10g of food with 25mg of medication.
10g = 15 teaspoons of food wich is an entire bottle.
5ml = 1 teaspoon of the medacation
in 5ml of meds also = 250mg of meds
20 drops of the meds = 1 ml
I only want to treat 1 teaspoon at a time i only have one puffer. I know it will come down to drops per teaspoon food i just can figure how many..
