The Puffer Forum

These are not puffers. But they live with my puffers. I have two of them. I didn't know which forum to post this in, so my apologies if it is in the wrong one.

The last video I uploaded on photobucket was degraded severely in quality, so I've left this one as is, hosted on my own server.

I think they are some form of catfish or small shark. But I'd like to know exactly what they are so I can do some reading up on them.

Looks like a fast-swimmer! Some kind of channel catfish or irridescent shark. Both of which are not BW species & grow to 4' long! What are they doing in there?

They were in the tank with them at walmart. So I figured they got along and bought 2 of them along with my 2 puffers.

I'd like to find out the specific name of it so I can google it and learn all about them.

Um... I'd bring them back. Try to google the 2 I mentioned. And please don't buy any more fish from Walmart.

I didn't make multiple trips to get fish from walmart I got those at the same time as the GSPs. When I knew nothing.

Except mine are more golden in color, don't have black dots on them, and have a slightly reddish cheek, and the "whiskers" on the front aren't as prominent.

Same fins in the same places though. Same shape. So, we're close!

Yeah, that's wehat I was thinking. Now do a search on channel catfish & see how big they get! They are a FW, coldwater fish.
