I'm new to the aquarium scene. Last night I filled up my 55g tank and it was cloudy. This morning it was a little better. I figured I didn't rinse the crushed coral good enough. So, I took everything out. Rinsed and rinsed and rinsed. Then filled up the tank again. Same thing.

My question is, can I put my GSPs in the cloudy tank? I'm sure it will settle, but I hate having my puffsters in the tiny tank they are in.

The Biospira needs to be added as soon as the fish is in the tank. Before, actually. The cloudiness will settle and won't hurt the fish.

Add some filter floss to your filter to "polish" the water. The fish won't mind the cloudyness. Add B-S directly to your filter at the same tiem you add the fish.

Make sure you use something like Prime to detoxify the water when you add any to the tank.

I did use Prime.

I just added bio-spira, and then the fish! It's been about 20 minutes. They seem to love it. It's nice to actually be able to watch them swim, instead of hover around in a little tank.
