Not sure where to put this so feel free to move this if it's in the wrong spot. I may be getting ahold of a 70+ gallon tank, the only problem is that it has water stains. I also have two turtle tanks in use that have water stains. The question I have is if there is a safe way to clean off these stains.

A vinegar solution and some scrubbing should do the trick. Just make sure to rinse it out very well after. Or bleach or oxy-clean.
I'm not too sure how to remove the stains from the running tanks. With my mudskipper tank, quarter filled, I just keep scrubbing the water stains with a sponge so they dont build up.

I heard vinegar, and scrubbing with newspaper was effective...have never tried it though
