Help.....Puff's down again

After being really hopeful this morning when he seemed livelier and ate half a mussel, my Puff has gone back to being listless and lifeless again tonight
He is just resting on a big plant leaf....very still
I did another water test....pretty much the same result as yesterday
PH = 7
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0.1
Nitrate = 10
Really not sure what to do?????
I don't wanna lose him

Did you do a water change yesterday, might be worth doing another one today to try and get rid of that nitrite.

Yes, I did a water change yesterday and just this second did another 20% water change. He seemed to come alive a little more and was swimming up and down. Do you think the water temp is okay at 27.5C or is it a little high.... could this cause any of the problems Puff is having ???
Okay...good news again...since I did the water change he has eaten and is swimming around and is even fanning his tail out which I haven't seen him do yet!!!!
...so, I guess that means he is happy...for now at least.
So, do I carry on doing the water changes daily until the nitrite level is down to 0 on it's own without the water changes???

You MUST do daily 50% water changes until nitrites read zero all the time, he will stay happy and bouncy as long as you keep that number down.

Yes, that's going to be the best way to do it.
Clean water sure cures a lot of problems, doesn't it!
