I'm going to be out of town for about a week for Christmas. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but can an irrubesco go that long without feeding?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, they can actually go a couple of weeks and be fine. My DPs didn't eat for almost a month when I first got them.

Yeah, if healthy & well fed before you go, a week should be fine. Make sure & do a water change the day before you leave.

Really? I guess she's just so good at being pitiful after I give her her weekly fast day that I thought she'd wither away after a full week.

My mom is willing to look after her, but since she lives 2 hours away it would mean breaking down the puff tank, driving her over to my mom's place, setting her up, installing her food in the freezer....you get the picture.

PP, I'll be sure to give her a really thorough cleaning the day before I go and on the day I get back. :)

Thanks PP and Boxermom! If teensie little dwarf puffs can go a month, Alaska should be just fine. She'll just be extra pitiful when I get home.
