Hi.... I'm new today but i have been reading some of the articles for weeks now.
I have 2 Green Spotted Puffers (Peanut and Cashew) Currently they live in a 10gal (please don't yell at me :( i know its small but they are going back into the 30g that they started in) i got them 6 months ago (at walmart of all places) and they were completely freshwater. They have been living at 1.014 to 1.016 for 5 months and they are about 2" long.
How soon can i bring them up to 1.022????? I would love to get live rock, coral, etc.[/img]

Good luck with the corals! Corals are very, very expensive treats for my GSP. He won't leave anything I have put in his tank alone! Just make sure to try one at a time. I just end up putting them back in my reef tank after a few hours of him eating them! And most of the time he just keeps taking bites out of them and then spitting it out...Good luck though!

Please don't risk any healthy corals on your puffers. The reefs are dying! Do a lot of research to find out what corals the puffers may leave alone. I'd concentrate on getting a much larger tank, then worrying about all this. How soon are you planning on upgrading? At 2" they belong in at least a 55g, for now.
