I have a gsp and it seems it only uses one of its gills most of the time, could this be gill flukes? No other visible sign of illness. I have heard that a treatment for flukes is a salt bath, well my puff is in high brackish water. Can flukes still survive and effect my fish? Yes my water parameters are fine.

What you describe is lack of apparent movement of one operculum - the covering to the gills. Water may be flowing over the gills just fine and the opercular movement may be too slight for you to see. You cannot assume flukes from this - keep an eye on his opercular movement. Does he appear healthy otherwise?
